Golden Knights host floundering Flames in Pacific showdown at T-Mobile Arena

Vegas Golden Knights
Calgary Flames
LAS VEGAS — The Vegas Golden Knights, one of the NHL's hottest early-season teams, host the Calgary Flames at T-Mobile Arena on Thursday night.
Puck drop is 7 p.m. PT. The game streams nationally on ESPN+, and Scripps Sports carries the local Golden Knights broadcast. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
Vegas is 6-2-0 with 12 points and leads the Pacific Division after a 5-2 win at Nashville on Oct. 13. The Knights have won four of their last five games, scoring 3.8 goals a game and allowing 2.5. Jack Eichel leads the team at 1.6 points a game through eight games, and Mark Stone and Mitch Marner are scoring at least a point a game. Victor Olofsson has been electric in limited minutes. Goaltenders Carter Hart and Adin Hill have kept Vegas near the top of the Western Conference.
Calgary is in a very different spot at 1-5-0. Its only win was 4-2 at Anaheim on Oct. 13, after an ugly stretch that included losses to Vancouver, Seattle, Colorado and Anaheim. The Flames are scoring 2.0 goals a game and giving up 4.8, one of the league's worst goal differentials so far. Goalie Dustin Wolf has faced a heavy shot load, and the Flames' power play has yet to score.
Vegas has had the better of this Pacific Division matchup lately. The Golden Knights are 6-2 in the last eight meetings, including a 6-3 home win on April 2, 2026.
Vegas split its short road trip, losing at Minnesota and winning at Nashville, and wants to keep rolling at home. For Calgary, it's a measuring-stick game against the division leader and another chance to climb out of an early hole.
